Funded Internships
Funded internships and student research opportunities are central to Connecticut College's career-services program, CELS - a holistic, four-year approach to uncovering your interests and developing post-graduation plans.
Internships bring students to points around the nation or the around the globe to engage in meaningful work. Recent destinations include an environmental institute in Belize, a family planning consortium in Ethiopia and a research site for mapping glaciers in New Zealand. In the United States, students have interned with hundreds of organizations in the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Once involved in CELS, as a sophomore you'll take a series of three CELS workshops geared toward identifying your interests and skills and meet with a CELS counselor. They'll support you in your search for a paid junior-year summer internship or research opportunity.
