Residences
Connecticut College is a residential college. Since approximately 98% of the students live on campus, many social activities and other events revolve around the residence houses.
The houses are spaced throughout the oval-shaped campus, an effect that is both aesthetically pleasing and convenient.
The campus is generally referred to in three parts - north, central and south.
The Office of Residential Life has two Area Coordinators: one for North Campus, which includes the North and Central 1 sections of campus and one for South Campus, which includes the South and Central 2 sections.
Freshmen are placed in doubles, triples, or quads; sophomores are in doubles and singles; while juniors and seniors generally live in singles.
