Counseling Areas

Student Counseling Services is available to assist students experiencing emotional upset. Care is provided in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere at no cost to the student.

Some students come only once or twice to discuss something that concerns the, while others may require more ongoing care. Sometimes students, faculty or staff consult with one of the counselors if they are concerned about a student.

The staff has extensive clinical experience in counseling and psychotherapy and provides individual and group treatment, assessment and referral, and crisis intervention.  Medication evaluation and medication management, by our consulting psychiatrist, are provided for a fee, typically covered by insurance.
