Peer Educators
Peer Educators at Connecticut College are committed to promoting healthy choices and lifestyles. They are student leaders dedicated to educating and empowering themselves and their peers to live balanced, healthy lives.
Our Peer educators are directly supported by the Health Education Consultant, Associate Dean of Student Life, Director of Health Services and the Director of Counseling Services.
Their goals:
- Serve as active role models through their responsible decision making
- Serve as a resource for their peers, both in the dorm and campus wide
- Promote a campus environment that encourages respect for all
- Create innovative and educational programs for the campus based on issues Connecticut College students face
- Collaborate and co-sponsor events with student groups and clubs to create programs that meet the needs of their peers
