One more thing: When I first got into Conn, my mom bought me a little stuffed llama because she couldn't find a camel. So I named it Camel the Llama. Since then, I've managed to acquire 4 stuffed camels, and I should probably stop collecting them or else I'll become "the weird girl with all the camels."

Susana Hancock (Class of 2007)

Major: Linguistics and also a certificate in Environmental Studies

Also involved with: the Arbo Project, AIDemocracy chair, Women's Center of SECT Sexual Assault Hotline, Academic Advisory Boards, Figure Skating Team, Alpine Ski Team, and Mystic Aquarium.

Hobbies: flying airplanes, painting, hiking with my golden retriever, Mackintosh, and playing cello in a quartet named after a baboon species.

One more thing: I make my own maple syrup. As a result, I always have to try maple syrup and maple sugar anytime I see it. I am very critical. The stuff must be real. The same goes for key lime pie, perhaps my favorite food. I have also been trained to handle alligators.

One more thing: Last year, during COOP (pre-orientation camping trip), I was on MTV U with my COOP group! Also, I love to travel. I have to idea where I wish to live when I'm older, but I would to live abroad for at least several years and a goal of mine is to become fluent in Spanish!

One more thing: I once waited on line for 15 hours (1am-4pm) to get Sox/Yanks tickets at Fenway. And I went to New Orleans last summer with Conn to paint and gut houses. I'm pretty hardcore.
