Letters of Recommendation
First, take our advice
Read this advice from CELS on how to ask for - and get - strong letters of recommendation
Next, access Interfolio, Inc.
Go to Interfolio, Inc., the online credentials managing company used by Connecticut College for handling letters of recommendation. Register to set up an account.
After you have set up your account, you may request that CELS send any letters currently in your file to Interfolio.
For new recommendation letters, you may continue to have them sent to CELS first (each must be accompanied by a CELS letter of recommendation form) to be kept in your file and request that they also be copied and forwarded to Interfolio; or just have your recommender upload the letter directly to Interfolio.
Letters that were confidential or non-confidential in your CELS office file will continue to be listed as confidential or non-confidential letters in your Interfolio file.
Once your letters are at Interfolio, you may arrange to have them sent to whatever destinations you wish.
