Dining Services

The mission of Connecticut College's Dining Services is to provide food and service at the highest level of quality, value and convenience to the entire campus community and its guests. We will provide our services in a safe, sanitary environment in a professional manner fostering teamwork and cooperation. We will be innovative, creative, proactive and fiscally and environmentally responsible to ensure long term stability.

Dining Services falls under the Administration Division. Our Dining Services department is self-operated and serves the entire campus community: students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and visitors. Our primary focus is on YOU; hopefully, you will get to know the management and staff in each of the buildings where you dine.

Dining Services belongs to a professional organization called the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). This organization comprises approximately 750 colleges and universities, most of which are self-operated.

We have won four menu awards from NACUFS. We have been featured in many articles in trade magazines focusing on food variety to creative approaches to the labor shortage.

The Dining Services department consists of five dining rooms, a snack shop and campus pub. Our department has approximately 80 employees, all of whom are very dedicated to serving healthy and nutritious meals. During your academic career here you will undoubtedly make acquaintances with many of our caring staff. They are always willing to help you. If at any time during the meal you cannot locate something, please ask one of them!

You may also contact any management staff by e-mail, napkin notes or by calling them on the phone.

Bon Appetit!
