Research Interests: Radio
astronomy in general and VLBI
polarization observations of superluminal radio
sources and other active galactic nuclei in particular. Past work has
focused on cm band observations of AGNs
with the aim of delineating and understanding the magnetic fields in these objects, how the
fields are generated and the role they play in jet alignment and milliarcsecond source dynamics. BVRI optical monitoring of nearby
BL Lac objects and Seyfert galaxies.
Connecticut College Astronomy Student Research Projects
Like horseback riding, and canoeing. Am a member of AMC. Love astronomy
and do observatory public nights to bring the night sky to others. Hang
out with the Thames Amateur Astronomers on occasion. Not adverse to
fabulous, exotic meals either prepared by others!
