Synopsis:

The talk will show how many North American shorebird species depend upon a small number of coastal migration staging areas in preparation for nonstop flights to Arctic breeding grounds and to South American wintering grounds, and describe a conservation program, the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network, that promotes conservation of key areas.
