Biographical Sketch
Michael E. Malamut is a Senior Attorney with New England Legal Foundation, a nonprofit legal advocacy group that litigates in support of a fair balance between free market forces and government regulation. He has a JD from Harvard Law School, where he served as Senior Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. Since 1986, he has practiced as a litigator in Massachusetts, for the past five years at NELF. He is an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School, where he teaches Appellate Practice, and is a member of the Board of Editors of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He is also the author of The Power to Take: The Use of Eminent Domain in Massachusetts, Pioneer Institute White Paper No. 15 (Dec. 2000). He has represented Anthony Palazzolo since the remand of his regulatory takings case from the United States Supreme Court.
