Update from Adam Weinberg '04 I'm out in the bay area working as a field scientist for a mid-size environmental consulting firm, doing water sampling at various industrial sites in the area and a lot of survey work for the railroad all over the west. Keeps me on the road and on my toes! Update from Michelle Gorham '04 My new job is an AmeriCorps position as Education and Information Assistant for the Division of Forestry and Wildlife in Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm hoping that they will upgrade it to full time after my 10 month stint. I believe that my CCBES experience helped me get my position here with the state. Between my internships and independent studies, I had a firm foundation in both education and science. Update from Joey Solomon '04 I've been teaching skiing in Crested Butte, Colorado for the winter, and it's absolutely spectacular out here. As fun as that seems, however, it seems like it's time to start thinking about getting a little more serious. While I know that it might seem hard for you to believe that these words are coming from me, the beautiful Colorado environment has inspired me to continue to pursue my passion of protecting our planet. As a result, I have decided that I want to go back to school for a masters in Social Environmental Studies or Environmental Policy. However, I have also realized that this is a few years off at the earliest, and I feel that I need to accomplish a few things before then in oder to be accepted into a good program.
