Marjorie Dilley Lecture Fund Marjorie R. Dilley, professor emeritus of government, taught at Connecticut College from 1935 to 1969. She was the author of British Policy in Kenya Colony, and an expert on colonial Africa . In 1990, the Board of Trustees established the Marjorie Dilley Lectureship Fund with memorial gifts in addition to a distribution from Professor Dilley's estate. The Dilley lecture annually brings a prominent speaker to campus to discuss a topic that reflects Dilley's academic interests, which were Western political theory, constitutional law and African politics.
