E-Mail Support

Outlook is the supported email client for PC´s. MacMail is the supported email client for Mac´s. Your Connecticut College computer will be configured for either Outlook or MacMail.

Email Services Usage and Limitations:
Student:

  • Support is given for the web interface. Instructions are available for configuring other clients, but support is limited.
  • Disk Space should be kept under 50Mb.
  • Do not store copyrighted materials on the server.
  • Attachments cannot be larger than 10Mb.

Faculty/Staff:

  • Support is given for the web interface, Outlook, and MacMail. Instructions are available for configuring other clients, but support is limited.
  • Users are limited to 100Mb of disk space.
  • Features include calendaring, tasks, and notes.
    Attachments cannot be larger than 10Mb.

Alumni:

  • See student section.
  • Keep an email box for one year after graduation.
  • After one year alums are directed to forwarding email only
