Interdisciplinary Programs

• The faculty in the botany and biology departments jointly offer the interdisciplinary major in biological sciences.
• Faculty from the life sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences together offer programs of study in the environmental studies major.
• In addition, faculty from the life sciences and chemistry offer the interdisciplinary major in biochemistry, cell & molecular biology.
• The botany department overees the operation of the multidisciplinary electron microscope facility.
