International Crysophyte Symposium 2008 at Connecticut College

Instructions for Authors

Policy on Submitting Papers for Publication in the Proceedings of the Seventh ICS

Every previous meeting of the International Chrysophyte Symposium has resulted in a published Proceedings. The Seventh ICS Proceedings will be published by Cramer in the Nova Hedwigia Beiheft series. Authors information can be found here: http://www.schweizerbart.de/j/nova-hedwigia/tex/nova-autorenhinweise.pdf.

As many of you already know, the previous Proceedings volumes have provided an excellent avenue for publishing works on chrysophytes and related organisms. We expect this volume also to be widely distributed. All participants who present a paper are invited to submit manuscripts for publication in the Proceedings volume. Likewise, authors should strive to bring the manuscript to the meeting for submittal. If you feel that you need feedback on the research during the meeting or simply cannot bring the manuscript to completion by the start of the meeting you are welcome to meet with the editors, Jim Wee and Peter Siver, to arrange a submittal target date after the meeting. Please remember that effective publication requires that the Proceedings be published in a timely fashion, and the review and publication processes cannot begin until the manuscripts are submitted. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Jim Wee and Peter Siver
