Study Away and East Asian Languages and Cultures

If you study Chinese and Japanese at Connecticut College you'll be strongly encouraged to study away in your junior year in the country where the target language is spoken.

As an East Asian language major, you'll consult with the department faculty to select the program that best suits your needs and interests. Summer language programs at universities in and outside the United States are an option if you wish to accelerate your language study.

The College's unique TRIP and SATA programs can add yet another dimension to your East Asian language and cultural studies.
