Study Away

Connecticut College has a long tradition of recognizing the importance of international studies and study away. 55% of Connecticut College students study away or abroad through our own innovative international and national programs.

Prospective student teachers often ask "If I wish to study overseas for a semester, can I still be certified?"

With careful planning with the College's Certification Officer, many students who go on to become certified also are able to do a semester abroad and graduate within four years. Careful planning also might enable you to take some general education requirements at another institution.
