Applying to the Education Department

To apply to the Connecticut College education department's teacher certfication program you must:

• Take and satisfactorily complete EDU 223, Foundations of Education
• Be waived from or pass PRAXIS I:(Essential Skills test based on ACT or SAT scores) (PRAXIS Waiver Form)
• Complete an Application for Teacher Certification
• Complete an essay prompt: As a teacher, what will you be educating for? How does your response to this question reflect your social location?
