Study Away

You may choose to enrich your psychology major with study abroad or a College-funded summer internship in a medical center, social services agency or other organization here or abroad.

You might also choose to combine the psychology major with a certificate from one of the College interdisciplinary academic centers. For example, many psychology majors have conducted cross-cultural studies for their honors theses and collected data while on SATA semesters or CISLA summer internships in India, Greece, Argentina, Germany, France, Morocco, and other countries. A scholar in the Toor Cummings Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts (CISLA), interned with an advocacy group in Argentina and has done cross-cultural studies of body image and eating disorders.
