Theater Production of Private Eyes at Connecticut College

Study Away

Students majoring in theater often elect to spend one intensive semester away, which provides them with a unique opportunity to experience the rigors and standards of conservatory training within the context of their liberal arts experience.

The College is the college of record for two programs offered by the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Conn.: The National Theater Institute in Waterford, Conn., and the Moscow Art Theater Semester (MATS) in Moscow, Russia.

Theater students have also studied in Italy at the Accademia Dell'Arte, in London at the British American Drama Academy and the London Dramatic Academy, in Dublin at The Gaiety Theater, and in programs in Spain, New York City and others.

We encourage you to talk to a theater professor to discuss your interests and find a study away program that is right for you. Here's more information about study-away programs.
