Annual Unity House Events

As part of the Unity House mission to provide support and leadership for diversity and multicultural programming, students, staff and faculty work collaboratively on a wide range of events. Over the years, some events have become tradition as they continue to draw from diverse communities around campus, incorporating entertainment, education and celebration.

We invite you to attend our traditional events which never fail to engage and challenge audiences. Please consult the Online Calendar of Events for times and dates of Unity House events, which include:

Fall Semester

  • Genesis, program for incoming freshmen 
  • Taste of Unity Picnic
  • Make the Connection Dinners
  • Unity-affiliated Clubs Retreat
  • Latino Heritage Month
  • Native American History Month
  • Diwali Dinnner, sponsored by the Connecticut College Asian /Asian American Student Association (CCASA) a campus favorite every year.
  • Black Solidarity Day, organized annually by UMOJA, Connecticut College's African Diaspora Club.

Spring Semester

  • Martin Luther King Celebration
  • Black History Month
  • Asian/Asian American Heritage Month
  • Senior Appreciation Dinner
