On Call Cooks Helper

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE is looking to fill an on-call Cooks Helper position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist cooks in food production of all meals using proper sanitation practices when handling food/equipment; cleaning of work area and equipment; utilization of food surpluses; batch cooking; mindfulness of food production quantities to reduce waste.
Position requires two to three years of cooking experience or formal post high school training in the culinary arts, the ability to read and interpret menu and recipe abbreviations, be in good physical condition with excellent stamina, have manual dexterity for high volume work, and be dependable. This position will include nights and weekends, specifics to be determined.
