How to Give

There are many ways to give to Connecticut College: by donating time, helping with fundraising, or making a financial gift.

Give money

Financial gifts can include appreciated securities; planned gifts might be real estate or retirement plan benefits.

But most financial gifts are made in cash. For information about a major gift or planned gift, contact William O'Neil, director of major gifts and planned giving

To make a cash gift through the Annual Fund:

  • Make your gift online.

  • Send a check payable to Connecticut College to:

Give stocks

Making a gift of appreciated securities is simple and can be tax-smart.

For information, call Judy Poirier, director of advancement services, at 1-800-888-7549 ext. 2422, or e-mail stockgifts@conncoll.edu.

Make a matching gift

Many employers match charitable gifts made by their employees. Sometimes gifts made by spouses and retirees qualify as well.

To get started, ask your company's human resources office for a matching gift form and follow the instructions on it. This is a great way to double or even triple the impact of your gift. Questions? E-mail Theresa Hoffman at giving@conncoll.edu.
