Parent Volunteers
Parents are valued members of the Connecticut College community. Here are a few ways for you to be involved on campus:
Arrival Day
Volunteers welcome freshman parents for orientation on Arrival Day in August. Freshmen and their parents converge on the College Center at Crozier-Williams for refreshments, conversation and registration, and take part in a long day of moving in, special programming and receptions, and good-byes. Parent volunteers add volumes to the comfort level of incoming students and their parents.
Fall Weekend
This weekend is jam-packed with performances, seminars, sports and activities for all. Parents volunteer in many ways and at all levels.
Commencement
Parent volunteers help with faculty lineup, distributing water, parking, and in any number of ways on this celebratory day. The College’s 91st Commencement will be Sunday, May 17, 1009.
To volunteer, please contact Nancy Picard at 860-439-2406, or e-mail us at parents@conncoll.edu.
