The Parents Fund
The Parents Fund, as part of the Annual Fund, provides crucial unrestricted dollars that support financial aid, study abroad, athletic equipment, visiting scholars and so much more -- virtually every aspect of a Connecticut College education.
Supporting the College through the Fund is a way for parents to endorse the extraordinary education and opportunities the College provides their sons and daughters.
The comprehensive fee covers 82 percent of the full cost of a Connecticut College education, with gifts and income from the endowment covering the rest. Through the Parents Fund, parents can help cover the difference.
In 2009, the Parents Fund reached $737,000 -- exceeding its goal -- with 40 percent participation.
Gifts through the Parents Fund provide immediate support in the College's current budget year. These gifts support all the priorities of the Campaign for Connecticut College.
