Flock Theatre

"Shakespeare in the Arboretum" delights summer audiences

For several summers, the New London-based Flock Theatre has presented "Shakespeare in the Arboretum" during July and August. The performances are free, but donations are accepted.

Derron Wood '86, principal director of Flock Theatre, has directed Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, Oedipus Rex, Romeo & Juliet and Agamemnon, among others.

People, picnics and blankets cover the amphitheater grassy slopes, with the Arboretum pond as a backdrop, to view these marvelous productions.
