Cosas Perdidas/Fundstücke is a joint effort of the German artist Eckhard Froeschlin and the Nicaraguan poet Ernesto Soto, which was published in 2010. The book consists of twelve objects from the town of Matagalpa, Nicaragua illustrated as color etchings and accompanied by short stories in Spanish by Soto together with a German translation. The book grew out of a joint project between Matagalpa and its German sister city Wuppertal that attracted artists and others to develop skills in etching, printing, papermaking, and the production of artists' books. This volume is number three of a limited edition of 25. It is printed on handmade paper from Matagalpa and the binding is a mix of leather and a Nicaraguan coffee sack.
