Instructional Technology Initiatives
REALIA: Rich Electronic Archive for Language Instruction Anywhere
The REALIA Project publishes faculty-reviewed media for the teaching and study of modern languages and cultures. Faculty and students at all levels are encouraged to contribute materials to our searchable, online database.

Arab World Project
A NITLE sponsored website available as a resource for all who would like to develop a better understanding of the Arab world. Connecticut College Professor Patrice Brodeur contributed to the project.

Multimedia Education Resources
MERLOT is a cooperative of individual members and institutions of higher education interested in improving teaching and learning.

WebCT is a web-based course management system used at the college to provide students with supplemental resources and increase communication in courses.
 
Organizations Supporting Instructional Technology
The National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education (NITLE) supports the integration of technology in small liberal arts colleges. Connecticut College is a member of the Mid-Atlantic/New England (MANE) region and participates in NITLE programs through the Center for Educational Technology (CET) at Middlebury College.

The North East Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP) enhances communication and dissemination of information related to the use of computers, networks, and information technology in education, academic research and educational adminstration.

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

Syllabus' mission is to inform educators on how technology can be used to support their teaching, learning and administrative activities.

The TLT Group's mission is to motivate and enable institutions and individuals to improve teaching and learning with technology, while helping them cope with continual change.

CUMREC is A Higher Education Administrative Technology Conference. The purpose of CUMREC is to provide a forum for higher education professionals to share their expertise and experiences with computer systems in our ever-changing world of technology.

CLIR works to expand access to information, however recorded and preserved, as a public good. CLIR is an independent, nonprofit organization. Through projects, programs, and publications, CLIR works to maintain and improve access to information for generations to come.
