REFERENCE
The Reference staff provides assistance with
finding materials, using paper and electronic reference sources, and performing
research. Please feel free to ask questions at the Reference Desk. The
reference desk is staffed during most hours
the library is open. Reference Hours are subject to change during holidays
and school breaks.
CTW BOOK AND PHOTOCOPY REQUESTS
CTW is a consortium of three libraries, Connecticut
College, Trinity College and Wesleyan University. All current faculty,
staff and students may place CTW book loan and article requests. Some items
have special rules of circulation, e.g., music items, government documents
and special collections, (TC-WATK, CC-SPECIAL, WU-SP-COLL, CC-CAREER and
TC-ROME.)
Book Requests
To request a CTW book, an electronic request must be submitted
through the CTW library catalog. If you already know how to submit requests,
go directly to the CTW
Library Catalog. Please read the brief notes about the items with
special rules highlighted above. We want to fill your requests
as quickly and efficiently as possible. You can help us by following
these basic
instructions.
Photocopy Requests
Although journals, magazines and newspapers do not circulate
via CTW, specific articles may be requested. If the item is not held
by one of the CTW libraries, then an Interlibrary
Loan request must be made. The CTW
Library Catalog has all the necessary information to determine if
one of the three libraries has the item and exact volume or date you
need.
If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to
email.
