Circulation
Policies
Students enrolled in Honors
Study research are eligible for extended circulation privileges
through May 15th of their graduating year. Bring a letter
from your faculty advisor to the circulation desk to have
your status changed.
Liaison
Program
Departmental liaisons are subject area specialists who can
work with you one-on-one to support your research needs.
Liaisons can help you develop a research strategy for locating
information on your topic, find answers to specific questions,
select and evaluate authoritative information resources,
locate books and other library materials in the CTW Consortium
and through Interlibrary Loan, and offer general instruction
in the use of library materials and equipment.
Research Consultation
In depth, one on one research session with a Librarian.
Sessions may be scheduled by completing a form at the Reference
Desk or registering online.
Online
Databases and Indexes
Use
the libraries’ electronic databases to identify journal
articles and other resources.

Full-Text Journal Locator
Use this handy online tool to identify available full-text
journal titles including JSTOR and Project Muse titles.
Interlibrary
Loan
Interlibrary
Loan (ILL) serves to supplement the library’s collections
of resources for students, faculty and staff of the College.
The service tries to make available books and articles from
journals that are not owned by the libraries of Connecticut College, Trinity College and Wesleyan University (CTW).
Requests for books and media from Trinity and Wesleyan can
be placed using the Library Catalog
RefWorks
RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and
database manager that allows a user to create their own
personal database by importing references from text files
or online databases. RefWorks
provides tools to quickly and easily insert bibliographic
references into papers and to create bibliographies in multiple
formats.
Avoiding Plagiarism

work does not reflect the student's personal and original
words, word-grouping or ideas.” This site provides a list
of resources that addresses plagiarism and how you can properly

Information Services provides instruction in the use of
information resources and technologies for the students,
faculty, and staff of Connecticut College. Our technology instruction program supports
the diverse educational, research, and administrative needs
of the college community.
Honors
Papers and Theses in the Connecticut College Archives
Information on locating and viewing completed CC honors
papers as well as submission guidelines. Some previously submitted honors papers can also be viewed online via the Digital Commons.
Writing Center
The Roth Writing Center provides one-to-one peer tutoring to help writers of all abilities during all stages of the writing process
