Telephone Policies

Approved by Senior Administrators, January 26, 2004

A. Cell-phone Approvals:

For individuals with valid college purposes, cell-phone services may be obtained by college personnel with the budget approval of the Senior Administrator of the appropriate area and review by the Vice President for Information Services and Librarian of the College or his designee. Contracts encumbering college funds for cell phones may only be signed by a Senior Administrator. Expenses incurred by college personnel for cell-phone services will only be reimbursed if this policy is followed.

B. Telephone Service Provision:

IS is responsible for the provision of college telephone services. No other individual or department is authorized to place orders for telephone equipment or services on behalf of the College or in any other way encumber the college for phone services without the review and approval of the Director of IS Technical Support.
