Two-State Buttons in JavaScript JavaScript is a simple programming language, a scripting language, for managing actions or events on Web pages. JavaScript allows a Web developer to employ advanced features on Web pages that cannot be accomplished using straight HTML. These navigation buttons display highlights when the mouse moves over them. Each button is composed of two separate images: A button toggles from its unlit state to its lit state when the mouse moves over it. View the document source code to see how this works.
