Student leader trainings
The LGBTQIA Center provides extensive educational opportunities for students, presenting lectures and workshops at new student Orientation for Housefellows and Floor Governors, Alana Big Sibs, in residence houses and at the LGBTQIA Center on a regular basis.
In spring 2010, the Center launched the Queer Conn History Project. Students conducted archival research and interviewed College alumni. This research culminated in the installation of a multi-media exhibit in the LGBTQIA Center. Funding for the project was provided by alumnus Eric Kaplan '85.
The Center hosts many special lectures and workshops throughout the year. For the latest information on these events, consult the Online Calendar of Events.
