$9 million in campus improvements during summer 2007

During summer 2007, the College underwent an unprecedented $9 million in campus improvements as part of the College's campus renewal plan.

The overall plan focuses on restoring campus buildings, walkways, roadways and landscaping in the College's overall effort to embrace technology in learning environments, revitalize student life, boost energy efficiency and freshen faculty and staff office spaces.

"Work is part of $53 million campus makeover." June 19, 2007.

To keep the campus community and campus visitors informed of these positive developments, a detailed list of ongoing projects and improvements, traffic rerouting, and closures was provided by Physical Plant and was posted weekly.
