Dear Connecticut College Alumni:

While the celebration of Connecticut College’s 87th Commencement was a bittersweet departure for the Class of 2005, the campus revived when alumni returned for reunion two weeks later. Check out photos of the reunion parade and other images from the weekend.

Reunion 2005

• Back to school. Alumni whose class years end in zero or five return to CC June 2-5.
• Athena keeps fighting. Entrepreneur Trish May ’75 receives the College Medal for her innovative fundraising efforts in the battle against cancer.
• Plex a priority. Renovating Marshall and Hamilton halls and updating more classrooms will be a prime focus of CC’s fundraising efforts in 2005-06.
• Celebrating CC spirit. Four alumni are recognized for volunteerism on behalf of the College.
• Faculty milestones. Professors celebrating key anniversaries are honored by the Alumni Association.

Campus news

• From Cervantes to metaphysics. CC welcomes five new faculty members with different areas of expertise and approves tenure for eight.
• Building diversity. The College creates its sixth center: an intellectual home for issues of race and ethnicity.
• Volunteers welcome. The Alumni Association Board of Directors adds new members.
