Four alumni athletes were inducted into the Connecticut College Athletic Hall of Fame during Fall Weekend 2005. Peter Dorfman ’84, Meg Gaillard ’95, Kim-An Hernandez ’99 and Chip Orcutt ’84 were honored for their commitment, achievement and contribution to the College’s athletic program at a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The hall of fame recognizes athletes for their athletic performance, but also for sportsmanship, leadership and academic success.

The inductees join 50 hall of fame members. They were chosen by a 12-member selection committee composed of College coaches, faculty, staff and alumni.

Plaques noting the accomplishments of each of the four inductees were unveiled at the ceremony and now hang in the Hall of Fame Room at Charles B. Luce Field House.
