Announcements Allen Carroll '73, chief cartographer at National Geographic, will speak on campus Nov. 2 after receiving an environmental award from the College's Goodwin-Niering Center for Conservation Biology and Environmental Studies. His talk begins at 7 p.m. in Blaustein Humanities Center. Connecticut College's dance legacy is highlighted at two New York events next month: Five dancers from of the Class of 2005 (Amy Tennant Adams, Maggie Bennett, Ani Javian, Cara Liguori and Betsy Miller) have formed the Propel-her Dance Collective and will perform Nov. 3-4 at the Merce Cunningham Studio.
