Fall Weekend: For alumni, families and friends
Fall is in the air — students have arrived on campus, classes have begun and the sports season is underway. Capture the spirit of excitement on Fall Weekend from Oct. 13-15. The CC Office of Alumni Relations, in concert with faculty, staff and students, has planned a wide variety of activities from mini-classes to campus tours that provide a glimpse of Connecticut College today. New to the Fall Weekend schedule are tours of renovations to Marshall and Hamilton residence halls and classrooms as well as a mini-class on Michaelangelo’s Sistine Chapel taught by Robert Baldwin, associate professor of art history. Visitors are welcome to stop by Unity House, the College’s multicultural center, to meet the new directors, and Vinal Cottage, home of the Office of Career Enhancing Life Skills, to see what’s new in career services. Other highlights include the students’ annual Harvestfest, field hockey and men’s and women’s soccer games against Bowdoin College, and theater and a cappella performances.
