Connecticut College 2, UMass Dartmouth 0 Louria Scores Two Goals for Camels

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.--Freshman midfielder David Louria (Brookside, N.J.) scored two goals to lead the visiting Connecticut College men´s soccer team (4-1) to a 2-0 win at Umass Dartmouth (6-2) Tuesday. Alex Martland (Marblehead, Mass.) made three saves en route to his second shutout of the season for the Camels. It was the third straight victory for head coach Kenny Murphy´s Camels. The Corsairs had their winning streak suspended at two games with the blanking. In the seventh minute of action, Louria scored from 15 yards out on a feed from classmate Nick Maghenzani (Allendale, N.J.). He collected a loose ball in front of the goal with 43 seconds left to put the game out of reach. Freshman Mike Phelan (Carver, Mass.) had five saves in the setback for the hosts. The Camels will host Bowdoin College Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. on Tempel Green in New London.
