Camels Finish in Second Place Tie at Stonehill Invitational

EASTON, Mass.--The Connecticut College men´s tennis team (1-1) visited Stonehill College for the Skyhawk Invitational this weekend. The Camels scored 14 points to finish in a second place tie with the College of the Holy Cross and tournament host Stonehill. Merrimack College won the invitational with a score of 20 points. The Camels finished ahead of Nichols College, Salve Regina University, Bridgewater State and Curry College. Freshman George King (Concord, Mass.) reached the final in the #1 singles flight before falling in the final. Colin Tasi (Stowe, Vt.) advanced into the finals at #3 singles for head coach Paul Huch´s Camels. Team Results 1. Merrimack 20 pts 2. Connecticut College 14 pts 2. Holy Cross 14 pts 2.
