#18 Camels Finish Ninth out of 27 Teams at Professor Smith Regatta

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Connecticut College coed sailing team competed in the Professor Smith Regatta at MIT this weekend. The Camels, ranked #18 in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association National Poll, finished ninth out of 27 teams with a score of 154 points. The University of Rhode Island won the regatta with a score of 95 points. The University of Connecticut tallied 115 points en route to a second place showing. Roger Williams University was third in the regatta with a score of 125 points. Sophomore Peter Miller (Paget, Bermuda) and Christy Clothier (Newtown Square, Pa.) sailed to a sixth place finish in the A division with a score of 55 points. In the B division, sophomores Ben Bainbridge (West Hartford, Conn.) and Katie St. George (Marblehead, Mass.) tallied 99 points en route to their ninth place finish for the Camels.
