Camels Visit Middlebury Saturday
SOMERVILLE, Mass.--Whitney Hardy (Truckee, Calif.) tallied two scores in the opening 15 minutes of regulation to lead Tufts University (6-4, 4-2) to its fourth straight win in a 3-0 victory against Connecticut College (3-7, 0-6) on Kraft Field Wednesday.
Ali McKeigue (Arlington, Mass.) recorded a team-high five shots for the Camels. Kate Minnehan (Hopkinton, N.H.) corralled all of her four saves in the second half for the Jumbos. Jenna Ross (Longmeadow, Mass.) made six stops for the Camels.
Connecticut College will visit Middlebury College Saturday morning for an 11:00 a.m. NESCAC contest in Middlebury, Vt.
Sophomore Katelyn Driscoll (Peabody, Mass.) has tallied three goals, two assists and eight points for the Camels. Senior Sharon Katz (Barrington, R.I.) has dished out a team-high four assists to go with two goals. The senior Katz is tied for fourth in NESCAC assists with .44 helpers per game and has contributed 14 goals, six assists and 34 points in her career. Brigi Palatino (Ludlow, Mass.) is tied for ninth in NESCAC scoring with .40 goals per game and ranks 10th in point production with 1.00 points per game.
Rookie net-minder Amy Lowitt (Baltimore, Md.) is third in the conference saves with 6.83 stops per game.
