Camels Place Five Runners in Top 10 at Plansky Invitational Connecticut College Top Seven Land on All-Invitational Team at Williams WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--The Connecticut College women´s cross country visited Western Massachusetts Saturday to compete in the Williams College Plansky 6k Invitational. The Camels placed five of their runners in the top 10 to finish second in the six team field with a score of 32 points. RPI won the invitational with a score of 24 points. Assumption College tallied 84 points in third place. There were three additional incomplete scoring teams in the field. Junior Faye McKenna (Amston, Conn.) posted a time of 24:01 en route to a second place finish to lead the Camels. Sophomore Kerry Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) completed the course in 24:38 to place sixth for Connecticut College. Lindsay Paiva (Coventry, R.I.) cruised to a seventh place finish in 24:42. Kelsey Taylor (East Hampton, Conn.) was the next Camel scorer in eighth place with a time of 24:50. Senior captain Colleen MacPhee (Maplewood, N.J.) posted a time of 25:06 to round out the top five in 10th place. Chiara Pandolfi (Rome, Italy) placed 11th with a time of 25:21. Sophomore Julianne Fowler (Guilford, Conn.) posted a time of 25:41 to finish 14th in the field of 53 harriers.
