Babson College 5, Connecticut College 3 Camels Host Colby Saturday Morning at 10:00 a.m.

BABSON PARK, Mass. - Babson College erupted with five unanswered goals in a 24-minute stretch to defeat visiting Connecticut College, 5-3, in a non-conference contest at Babson´s MacDowell Field on Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Beavers snap a two-game slide to improve to 10-6, while the Camels dropped their sixth in a row to fall to 3-8. Junior Sarah Fredlund (New Preston, Conn.) scored two of Babson´s goals and senior captain Jess Paladino (Turner, Maine) had a goal and an assist. Senior Ellen Cavanaugh (Cheshire, Conn.), junior Abby Hine (Madison, Conn.) and Sophomore Lauran Gaffny (North Andover, Mass.) all scored goals for the Camels. Junior Jess Lewis (Rutland, Vt.) contributed a defensive save in the setback. Steph Quinn (Arlington, Mass.) had 11 saves for the Camels. Sophomore goalie Jess Pashos (Winchester, Mass.) made two saves in 64 minutes of action for the hosts, while senior Emily Cohen (West Grove, Pa.) made one stop in the final six minutes. The Camels will host Colby College Saturday morning for a 10:00 a.m. NESCAC game on the Artificial Turf at Silfen Field.
