The Camels Captured a Bronze Medal at the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge
WORCESTER, Mass.--The Connecticut College women´s rowing team headed north to Worcester, Mass. to compete in the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge this weekend. The Camels captured a bronze medal in the regatta by placing third in the 13 team field of competitors. Trinity College won the regatta with a time of 16:32.16. The University of New Hampshire was second in 17:17.59. The Camels posted a time of 17:32.87 en route to their third place finish. Johanna Collins (Florence, Mass.) was positioned in the bow seat. Lillian Beck (Bolton, Mass.), Amy Cheetham (Monroe, Maine), Koreen Shoham (West Hartford, Conn.), Seana Siekman (Bethel, Maine), Andie McRae (Stittsville, Ont.) and Caity Sprague (Bristol, R.I.) were seated 2-7 for the Camels. Lila Douglis (Belmont, Mass.) handled the stroke row and Maureen Sweeney (New Canaan, Conn.) was the coxswain.
