Trinity College 6, Connecticut College 3 Boutet Pots a Pair of Goals, Camels Visit Saint Anselm Friday

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--Trinity College (3-1) defeated Connecticut College (0-4) 6-3 in the third place game of the Spurrier Tournament at Wesleyan University Sunday. The Bantams (3-1) snapped a 3-3 tie with a pair of goals scored 1:20 apart in the early stages of the third period. Junior forward Matthew Quigely (Pittsburgh, Pa.) had a hat-trick and put Trinity on top for good with his goal at 2:39 of the third period. Adamo Miceli (Woodbridge, Ont.) and Adam Houli (Howell, N.J.) each had two assists for the winning side. Junior net-minder Wesley Vesprini (Lexington, Mass.) contributed 22 saves for the Bantams. Julien Boutet (Amos, Quebec) potted a pair of goals in the setback for the Camels. First year forward Kyle Riffe (South Berwick, Maine.) scored a first period goal for Connecticut College. Brett Moore (Medfield, Mass.) accounted for two assists. Andrew Margolin (Mahwah, N.J.) stopped 20 Bantam shots in his first start between the pipes for the Camels. The Camels will visit Saint Anselm this Friday night for a 7:00 p.m. game in Manchester, N.H.
