New England College 2, Connecticut College 0 Parker Stops 32 Pilgrim Shots for Camels

Henniker, N.H. --Alex Muse (Lynnfield, Mass.) tallied a goal and an assist to lead the New England College Pilgrims (2-2-1) to a 2-0 victory against Connecticut College (1-5) in a ECAC East/NESCAC crossover game played in Henniker Saturday. Aaron Harvey (Milford, Nova Scotia) stopped 24 shots for the Pilgrims en route to the shutout. Senior Greg Parker (Trenton, Ontario) made 32 saves for the Camels. Johan Granath (Stockholm, Sweden) opened the scoring at 5:18 of the first period. Muse and Mark Ehl (N. Vancouver, B.C.) assisted on what proved to be the game-winner. With 3:53 remaining in the second period, Muse buried a slap shot and the hosts enjoyed a 2-0 advantage. Ehl and Jon Globke (W. Bloomfield, Mich.) assisted on the score. The Camels will look to get back on track Tuesday night when they host the Manhattanville College Valiants for a 7:00 p.m. game at Dayton Arena.
