Connecticut College 3, Hamilton College 0 Lasher Provides Nine Kills, Three Blocks for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College volleyball team (7-0, 2-0) cruised to a 3-0 victory against Hamilton College (4-6, 0-3) in a NESCAC match played at Luce Field House Saturday. The game scores were 25-21, 25-14 and 25-17 in favor of the hosts. Senior outside hitter Jessie Lasher (Plymouth, Minn.) buried nine kills to go with three blocks for the Camels. Rachel Schroff (Palos Verdes, Calif.) added seven kills for the winning side. Junior Ally Terlizzi (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) chipped in with seven digs. Senior setter Marissa DeMais (Hillsdale, N.J.) distributed a match-high 21 assists. Sophomore Katie Ketcham (San Francisco, Calif.) chipped in with eight assists for Connecticut College. Hamilton College rookie middle blocker Meredith Nuber (Glenview, Ill.) provided 12 digs, seven kills and two blocks for the visitors. Megan McCareins (Evanston, Ill.) contributed six kills and seven digs for the Continentals. Cecelie Pikus (Short Hills, N.J.) added six assists, four service aces and three kills. Sarah Pfund (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) dished out seven assists and Ally Martella (Washington, D.C.) contributed three kills and four blocks for Hamilton. -CC-
