Wright Finishes 10th at Williams College Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--Connecticut College junior Doug Wright (Darien, Conn.) posted a time of 26:44 in a 10th place finish at the 8k Williams College Invitational Saturday, helping the Camels score 252 points in a 10th place showing among the 18 scoring teams. MIT and Keene State tied for first place with 90 points. Tufts University placed third with 106 points. Middlebury College junior Michael Schmidt won the invitational with a time of 26:00 on the 8k course. Senior Shawn Mulcahy (Lebanon, Conn.) was the second Camel scorer in 37th place with a time of 27:27. Michael LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) posted a time of 27:40 in 47th place. Colin Gallant (Ashford, Conn.) was next in 91st place with a time of 28:27. Andrew Duarte (Rocky Hill, Conn.) posted a time of 28:45 to place 104th. Brenner Green (Lisbon, Conn.) was next in 135th place with a time of 29:22. Matt Boudreau (Bridgewater, Mass.) checked in with a time of 29:27 in 138th place as the seventh Camel to cross the finish line.
