Camels Crack Top 10 in New England Poll

NEW LONDON, Conn.--On the heels of their 10th place finish at the Williams College Invitational, the Connecticut College men´s cross country team has cracked the top 10 of the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)/NCAA Division III Poll. The Camels finished only 14 points behing nationally ranked Amherst and ran ahead of previously ranked teams Springfield College and the University of Southern Maine. The Camels are ranked 10th in this week´s poll. Brandeis University is the top ranked team in New England. MIT climbed from fourth to second place and Keene State College is third. Next up for the Camels will be their annual visit to Franklin Park in Boston for the All-New England Championship Oct. 9, 2010. You can view the poll in its entirety here .
